This book presents words that describe objects and people as big and small. A picture goes with each sentence to provide experience with big words, such as huge, enormous, gigantic, increase, enlarge, magnify, extensive, escalate and small words like miniature, decrease, shrink, slight, meager, minute, and many more. We recommend this book as the first book in the Spanish intermediate series.
Stories told in present and past tense. Miniature stories occur in present time and are retold in past time. This book enables you to understand the use of verb tenses in the context of interesting stories in which every day conversational language is used. All terms are illustrated with clear line drawings.
Stories containing increased use of three modal verbs in Spanish. The verbs deber, poder, and que tener are used extensively to teach in story context with the aid of pictures verbs that are somewhat equivalent to should, can, and must or have to in English.
